KittyHawk Fly-in Saturday & Sunday

Kitty Hawk Ultralight Flight Park Fly-in Saturday and Sunday September 25th and 26th will be hosted by Ultralights USA. For Us competitive types there will be spot landing and critter drop contests as well as a free safety seminars and some great home cooked food! Gas and parts are available as well.
Here's the Food agenda:
Breakfast available from dawn till lunch.
Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with all the 'fixens' for Lunch.
On Saturday there will be a Brisket dinner to refuel all the pilots and visitors.
Contests will be spot landings and critter drops.
The critter drop will have an open class where there is no minimum altitude and another event where the pilots must be 200 feet agl from the target.
The spot landing will be a simulated engine out landing with the person landing closest to the designated spot being the winner.
The free safety Seminar will be, "Pilot Down! Survival and first aid" held by Mr. Ken Steiner, a San Antonio College EMS Instructor, CPR Instructor and Professional Firefighter/Instructor. The seminar covers what you need to know if a pilot has to land away from the home field or if a pilot needs first aid.
There will also be a CPR certification class. The CPR certification costs $35.00.
These classes will only be available on Saturday, contests and food on both days.
